What We Do

Services built around
what your vehicle needs

From routine maintenance to complex repairs, we treat every car like it's our own — because that's how we'd want ours treated.

General Maintenance

Oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and scheduled service to keep your vehicle running smoothly mile after mile.

Brake Service

Pad and rotor replacement, brake fluid flushes, and complete brake inspections. Safety isn't something we cut corners on.

Engine Diagnostics

Check engine light on? We'll diagnose the problem accurately and explain exactly what's needed — no guesswork, no upselling.

Transmission

Fluid service, diagnostics, and repairs for both automatic and manual transmissions. We'll tell you what's wrong before we touch a bolt.

Suspension & Steering

Shocks, struts, alignment, and steering components. If your ride feels rough or your car pulls to one side, we can help.

Heating & A/C

Nebraska summers are hot and winters are cold — we'll make sure your cabin stays comfortable year-round with full HVAC service.

About Us

A shop that feels
like a neighbor

Merten's Autos has been a part of this community for years — right here on East Market Street in Albion. We're not a chain, we're not trying to be anything we're not. We're a small, local shop where you're more likely to be remembered by name than by your license plate.

That means when you pull into our lot, someone actually cares whether the job is done right. We take the time to explain what's going on with your vehicle, we don't recommend things you don't need, and we treat your car the way we'd want ours treated.

Whether you're driving down Route 6 or heading out on the highway, we want to be the people you call first — and the ones you recommend to your friends and family.

Why Merten's

The kind of shop
that doesn't come around
every day

We built our reputation on showing up, doing good work, and treating people the way we'd want to be treated. It's simpler than you might think — and it's worked for us.

01

No surprises

We explain the problem, the fix, and what it'll cost before we start. You'll never wonder what you're paying for.

02

Skilled hands

Years of experience across all makes and models. We've seen it, we've fixed it, and we do it right the first time.

03

Your neighborhood shop

We're right here in Albion — not a franchise, not a call center. When you call, someone you know picks up.

04

Fair from the start

Competitive rates and honest assessments. We won't tell you you need something you don't — that's just not how we operate.
